Garcinia Mangostana is an evergreen tropical plant. The peel is rich in polyphenolic components and xanthones, of which alpha mangostin, tannins, and flavonoids promote a valuable antioxidant effect. The extract also has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect, which renders it ideal for the treatment of oily skin.
